This is how I imagine a conversation between a complete stranger visiting this website and me would be like:

CS: Ok, that was unhelpful. I mean are you famous... am I supposed to know you?

 

Me: I am extremely unfamous. I thought I'd move that needle with this website.

CS: That's cute. What is this "website" about?

 

Me: I am also in the same boat. At this point though I don't really have a plan other than posting about some random stuff every once in a while. It also hurt me that you used air quotes when you said "website"

CS: Yes, because what you have here is a glorified blog.

 

Me: You are being mean to me.

CS: What kind of topics are you gonna write about?

 

Me: Random things. I mean anything I feel that would be remotely entertaining to the reader making his/her day slightly better.

 

CS: How noble *rolls eyes* Tell me more! What do you like. What do you dislike. What are your hobbies.

 

Me: Glad you asked! I am a big fan of...

CS: Whatever. Moving on... how often do you update this "website"? Do you write regularly?

Me: Hell no! I mean I don't want to set myself up for failure by suggesting a cadence, and not following up on it. Haha.

CS: Don't worry. That would be the last thing on my mind when I think of failure.

Me: Thank you? I guess?

CS: Final question. What's with the name, NefariousMinds?

Me: Isn't it cool? I really like the word nefarious and what it means - like a wicked & evil mind, like a super-villain, like the Joker, Riddler or Lex Luthor, like how they have wicked minds but are genius nonetheless.

CS: You really said 'like' a lot. Are you sure about this whole writing thing?
